Visual Perceptions

I am a semi-professional photographer that shoots in Color, Black and White, and Infrared. This site has what I consider to be my better “artistic” photos. My other Visual Perceptions blog has more general photos. If you like, or don’t like, what you see here, feel free to leave comments about my photos.
If you are interested in purchasing prints of any of the photos, please email Jeff at @ Vis ual Perc eptions (without the spaces) dot (.) org
I had one of my cameras modified to only shoot infrared photos and I have been very happy with the resulting images, some of which are on this blog. A company called Life Pixel did the conversion and I highly recommend you check them out if you are interested in infrared photography.
If you like incredible street photography, I highly recommend the blog that a friend of mine in Australia has. His name is Ted Szukalski and his incredible site is here. Definitely check it out if you want to see some of the finest photography of people and life in the city.
Thanks for visiting.

Jeff: Your images arefantastic. I really like the IR’s. I am having a Nikon D80 from Life Pixel. Would you mind sharing you secrest on the processing of IR’s after the shot? Being a newby, any advice will help.
Thanks,

Hello, Jeff, I was shopping for my first digital SLR online when I got your website; it took me sometime to go digit perhaps I loved my old cameras and darkroom experience too much. I really like your infrared and micro photos, perhaps they are the two categories I used to like shooting and printing the most myself. Only a few years ago, but seems like ages. The infrared photos I took were film B&W infrared, I had a Canon that allowed me to shoot infrared. After read your article, I had the impression that you used a digital camera to shoot your infrared, I wonder how do you do that? Also you mentioned about converting your infrared photos to B&W as though you shot them in color at first. Could you please tell me how do you make your infrared photos? And achieve such perfect results, do you process them through PhotoShop and the alike? I really love your prints. I shall come back often.
